We invite you to join us in prayer. This calendar highlights a monthly focus and specific prayer points as we work together to seek God's plan and further His Kingdom through Christian education.

The new CCS North Campus will include:

  • An Early Childhood Center and Lower School 
  • A 5th and 6th Grade Center
  • A fully enclosed and manned security entrance
  • Additional athletic facilities
  • A 2-acre enclosed courtyard and playground

The Early Childhood Center and Lower School building will support students in preschool through fourth grade. 

  • Offers more than 100,000 square feet of academic space, doubling the size of the current PS/LS 
  • Same size classes with the same target number of students per classroom
  • Designed using grade-level pods
  • Provides division-specific learning spaces, including learning labs, tutoring rooms, and a reading suite 
  • Additional enrichment rooms, including separate STEM and computer labs, music and art rooms, and activity centers for Early Childhood and Lower School students
  • Age-specific libraries also provide the space and opportunities to engage, discover, and grow through literature
  • Storm safe rooms large enough to accommodate all students and staff
  • Covered carpool and entries to protect students during inclement weather

This new space provides a secure entry while letting the outdoors inside in the expansive entryway with windows to the exterior courtyard and playground.

A new stoplight on 150th St. will be installed, as well as dedicated turning lanes, allowing for safe and secure entry.

The Early Childhood Activity Center is a prime example of how division-specific spaces allow students to learn and grow in developmentally-appropriate activities and facilities. 

Both the Early Childhood Activity Center and the Lower School Activity Center are designed to house indoor recess, before and after care students, chapel, and special events. 

Students thrive and grow academically, physically, socially, and spiritually through a variety of interactions, especially during opportunities for free play outdoors. 

The expansive outdoor courtyard and playground offer a multitude of opportunities with:

  • Age-specific playgrounds for Early Childhood and Lower School students
  • Outdoor sport court, lunchroom, and covered patio spaces
  • An expansive courtyard providing three acres of outdoor space and a walking or tricycle track for students in the Early Childhood, Lower School, and Fifth and Sixth Grade Center to share
  • Plans for a future prayer chapel

Additional outdoor athletic facilities will provide fields for students of all ages to practice Christian competition!

  • Youth league games and practices
  • Middle School games and practices
  • Practices for students of all ages
  • Opportunities for social and community events for CCS students, families, and staff 

Outdoor athletic spaces include:

  • Cross Country course
  • Full-size football field
  • Full-size soccer field 
  • Full-sized baseball and softball field
  • Outdoor golf practice area and putting green
  • Shared locker rooms and fan facilities
  • Additional fields for Early Childhood and Lower School Physical Education and class time

The reimagined current, or South Campus, will be transformed to support 7th-12th grade students. 

  • Percival's Plaza will sit at the center of the South Campus, where the current Courtyard and marquee are located.
  • The plaza, covering more than two acres, creates a walkable and secure campus with:
    • Expansive covered walkway and drop-off area with safety bollards
    • The addition of perimeter fencing on the south and west sides of campus
    • Walkable campus and removing the drive currently separating the Lower and Middle School Buildings
    • A covered stage providing countless social and outdoor special events to cultivate and build upon the CCS culture

The current Activity Center will be transformed into The Fine Arts Hall, providing a multi-purpose space for:

  • 7th and 8th grade chapel
  • Special events
  • Small performances
  • Fine Arts practice and performance rooms

The reimagined current, or South Campus, will be transformed to support 7th-12th grade students.

  • The current LS will become a 7th and 8th grade center creating space with:
    • Outdoor area
    • Gym
    • Picnic tables
    • Learning spaces
  • Current Activity Center will be transformed to The Fine Arts Hall
  • Current MS and US buildings will be transformed to reflect specialty learning classes for 9th-12th grade students
  • Expanded classroom space will also provide opportunities for programming and courses

The current Home of the Knights and stadium will also be enhanced through an expanded South Field House including:

  • New locker rooms
  • Team meeting rooms
  • More than 50 yards of indoor practice facility
  • Over 7,000 square foot weight and training room
  • Additional athletic field enhancements and improvements
