As re-enrollment time is upon us again, we want to thank you for your continued support of Crossings Christian School. It is our great privilege to partner with you in the Christian education of your children. It takes all of us working together to fulfill our God-ordained mission of developing students into Christ-centered servant leaders. One of the most critical elements in this development is the day to day interaction with the incredible teachers God has provided. Watching the public school teacher strike unfold earlier this year made us especially grateful for our teachers and the commitment they make to our CCS mission and families. To continue to recruit and retain the highly qualified teachers that are critical to our mission, it has become necessary for us to increase tuition for the 2019-2020 school year. Tuition will be increased by $500 per student as a means by which we can bring our teacher salaries in line with the current public school salary structure. It has always been a priority at CCS to work toward being competitive with area public schools to attract great teachers. Fortunately, we have been able to do so in the past. However, the latest increase in the public school teacher salaries put CCS at a bit of a disadvantage. The upcoming tuition increase is therefore necessary to make up some ground in that regard. We do not take lightly increasing the cost to our families and want to remind you there are tuition assistance programs available for families who qualify. The Business Office will be happy to provide you with information about these programs. We look forward to continuing to partner with you in the coming year!
