Knights Take Both Games of Double Header

On Thursday, March 7th the Knights travelled to Amber-Pocasset, Oklahoma for a double header against Elmore City-Pernell high school and Amber-Pocasset high school.
Against Elmore City, Crossings prevailed in a high scoring game 11-8. The Knights tallied ten hits. Tucker D. ’20, Jonah M. ’21, and Jacob S. ’20 each collected two hits to lead the Knights to victory. Crossings also tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases. Cole M. ’19 led the way with five stolen bases.
Then the Knights followed that victory with an extra innings victory over the home team, Amber-Pocasset 7-6 in 8 innings. Cole M. ’19 got the win for Crossings. He lasted three innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out two. The Knights totaled eight hits in the game. Jonah M. ’21, Trent M. ’19, and Jacob S. ’20 each managed multiple hits for Crossings. Jacob S. ’20, Trent M. ’19, and Jonah M. ’21 each collected two hits for Crossings. The Knights continued to dominate on the bases, as two players stole at least two bases. Guy W. ’20 led the way with four steals.
