VOCAL MUSIC

The Vocal Music Program includes instruction in classic and modern singing styles. Ensembles compete at the district and state levels. Individuals may compete at the regional, district, and state levels. Music theory, notation, and sight-reading are taught within an ensemble structure. Every voice has its own strengths, weaknesses, and style, but as an ensemble each person must come together to make one unified sound. A vocal music class is such a beautiful reflection of what it means to be a part of a Christian family. Music is from God and helps students develop mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
