Crossings Freshman English students competed in a classroom writing contest with each student presenting a 5-page argumentative research essay. Craig S. 20 won first place for his “Endangered Species versus Human Needs” essay. Second place was awarded to Stephanie M. 20 for her paper titled “Refugee Status Determination.” Finally, Sam R. 20 came in third for writing about “Autism: A Disorder, not a Difference.”
