Crossings Christian School, in coordination with state and local health departments, is closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19. It is for these reasons, the CCS campus is closed and classes will continue using online platforms beginning March 23-April 6.

Please note that all official communication will be emailed through official school communication platforms and will also be made available here. Offices are closed, and should your family need to speak to a CCS administrator, please email your division head directly.

If you feel that you or your student may have been exposed to the coronavirus, please contact your student’s principal by email as soon as possible.

CCS remains committed to the health and safety of our students and staff and will be following the situation carefully as directed by the Oklahoma Health Department and National Center for Disease Control.

Division specific Instructions for online courses are provided below.

Preschool and kindergarten age students are encouraged to spend time with parents and siblings practicing small and gross motor skills, early literacy skills, and hands on activities. A list of ideas can be found on the Early Childhood division page of the website as well as here.

First through fourth grade students are encouraged to continue coursework while at home. Specific activities and announcements are available on each grade level’s website and can also be found on the side bar of the Lower School division page of the website.

All parents and students will login to their email to receive instructions from each grade level. Teachers will send out plans to parents and students that include assignments/videos/Google docs. It is necessary for students and parents to check their emails daily. Teachers will use one or more of the following strategies to conduct school: Presentation Software, PowerPoint/Keynote, Videos and/or Recordings. Classwork and homework will continue to be expected and submitted at the given timelines.

Those students impacted in a way that would prevent them from continuing school from home will be required to present appropriate documentation to receive an extended amount of time to complete their work.

All students have access to school distributed iPads and will be expected to login to each of their courses to receive daily instructions from each course teacher via RenWeb and/or Google Classroom. Checking school email daily will be required. Teachers will use one or more than one of the following strategies to conduct school: Presentation Software, PowerPoint/Keynote, Videos and/or Recordings. Classwork and homework will continue to be expected and submitted at the given timelines.
