CCS middle and upper school vocal, orchestra, and band departments all recently attended District Contest in both large group, solo, and ensemble competitions. All Crossings students earned a rating of Superior or Excellent and many of the upper school students advanced to State!
The US Choir earned a Superior on Stage and in Sight-reading which advances them to State for the 2nd time. The US Orchestra performed as a Large Ensemble qualifying them for State Ensemble competition. The US Band earned their 2nd trip to State Contest with a Superior rating on Stage and in Sight-reading.

John Mark M., ’18 – Superior Classical Guitar Solo
The 7th & 8th grade Vocals attended District Choir Contest for the first time. Their experience was positive and they received excellent feedback from the judges. 7th & 8th grade Orchestra earned Superior ratings on stage and in sight-reading. 7th grade band earned an Excellent rating on stage and a Superior rating in sight-reading. 8th grade band earned an Excellent rating on stage and in the sight-reading room.
