Welcome to the Lower School at Crossings Christian School
We strive to create an environment that is intentional in preparing children academically, emotionally, and spiritually to become Christ-centered servant leaders by bringing spiritual development alongside academic preparation.

A STRONG FOUNDATION
Children are working toward becoming critical thinkers and problem solvers. The curriculum in each subject area is enriched with hands-on learning activities and extensions. All learning styles are taken into account in planning and preparation. Core subjects include: language arts, math, history, geography, science, and Bible. All students are also able to enjoy art, music, PE, computer, library and Latin (3rd-4th).
SPIRITUAL FORMATION
CCS students are presented with a rigorous academic curriculum woven with the solidity of God’s truth in order to develop a biblical worldview out of which to think and act. His presence is apparent everywhere! The Bible also serves as the basis for developing character and integrity, as well as the basis for discipline issues. Students attend chapel each Wednesday.
THE CLASSROOM
Our school expects teachers as well as students to have high expectations of quality work, according to the calling in Colossians 3:23.
Teachers pray for and truly know each individual child which allows for a safe, loving atmosphere that honors Christ.
