Financial Aid Minimize

Families are awarded financial aid on a one-year basis; therefore, it must be applied for annually.  The application process begins during open enrollment and ends on April 15th.   Crossings Christian School requires that the application be based on the previous year’s federal tax return.  The school board financial aid committee reviews applications and notifies families in May whether they received financial aid and in what amount.  All financial aid awards are to be kept confidential by all involved parties.  Families are asked to refrain from discussing their results with others to avoid placing their award in jeopardy.


Qualifications for Assistance

Crossings Christian School provides financial aid to qualifying families based on determined need and availability of financial aid funds.  The school utilizes an independent company, FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, to determine the amount that each family can be expected to pay for tuition.  Financial aid is granted in the form of a tuition discount ranging from 1% to 50%.  If a family has more than one student, then the family will receive the greater of either the financial aid tuition discount or the multi-family discount, but not both.  Financial aid is available for grades kindergarten and above and excludes preschool.

Financial aid is awarded to qualifying families in the following order:

  1. Current families of Crossings Christian School students that attend Crossings Community Church;
  2. Other current families of Crossings Christian School students;
  3. New families of students applying to Crossings Christian School that attend Crossings Community Church; and
  4. Other new families of students applying to Crossings Christian School.
