Student Support Services
Laura has been working at CCS since 2004. She has a B.S. in
Elementary Education with an early childhood certification from
Southern Nazarene University. She also has a M. Ed. in Reading from
the University of Central Oklahoma and is a licensed Reading
Specialist.
Mrs. Gautreaux says she really enjoys the challenge and rewards of
making a positive difference in children’s lives. She loves teaching
reading because it’s such an integral part of children reaching their
full potential.
Laura and her husband, Nic love to spend time with their dogs, Piper
and Oscar as well as their cat, Petey. Nic and Laura spend their
family time riding bikes, going for walks and traveling. She also
enjoys reading, running and eating dessert.
Favorite scripture verse: Ephesians 3:17-19, “And I pray that you, being
rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the
saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of
Christ, and to know that this love surpasses knowledge- that you may
be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
