Middle School Latin
Kristin began teaching at Crossings in 2010. From the University of Oklahoma, she has a B.A. in Letters and a Minor in Latin. Before coming to CCS, she taught high school and middle school Latin for four years in Richardson, Texas and Edmond, OK and she spent the last three years as a stay at home mom to her two boys.
Mrs. Biggs is passionate about teaching Latin and is excited to be able to do that in a Christian environment. She believes that all areas of education are tied together and that life can only be understood fully and correctly within the Christian worldview. She aims to communicate this to her students while providing them a safe and fun environment in which to learn.
The Biggs family includes husband, Randy, and two sons, Jack and Graham. Kristin loves spending time with her family, going to the lake, watching football games, and just playing at home. In her very small amount of alone time, she enjoys exercising and reading. She is very interested in Christian apologetics.
Favorite Scripture: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20
