6th & 7th Grade Science

Mrs. Chesney joined CCS in 2010. She has a B.S. in Education (k-8) from Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas. Prior to joining CCS, she taught in the Putnam City Schools at the elementary and middle school levels. Her most recent position was 6th-8th Gifted and Talented teacher at Hefner Middle School.

Ann is passionate about Christ, teaching, and kids. It is her desire to motivate and inspire students for a lifelong commitment to Christ and learning. It is her goal to integrate faith and learning by connecting units of study to a God-centered perspective.

Her family includes, husband Pete, daughter Lauren, and son Cole. She is the proud grandmother of Stella Anderson. She is also blessed with one son-in-law, Brad Anderson and a daughter-in-law Tawney Chesney. In her spare time, Ann enjoys interior decorating/painting, gardening, reading, and fellowship with family and friends.
