Headmaster

Mr. King has been a part of CCS since 2004 and has been an educator for 15 years, serving in both public schools and private Christian schools in Oklahoma and Colorado. He holds a B.A. in Journalism/Public Relations, (1989) and an M.A. in Journalism/Mass Media Management (1991) from the University of Oklahoma. In 1995 he completed the Oklahoma Teacher's Certification program at the University of Central Oklahoma. In 2003 he completed a credential in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Colorado, Denver. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (K-12 Christian Schools) at Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina and a Certificate in Biblical Studies at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. He is also a licensed minsiter with the Church of God, Anderson , Indiana.

His prior educational experience includes teaching Putnam City Schools in Oklahoma City, high school Spanish at Oklahoma Christian Schools in Edmond, and elementary Spanish at Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. King also served five years with Young Life, helping start an urban youth minsitry in south Oklahoma City.

Mr. King grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas and attended high school at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri.

His favorite Scripture verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths."
